Overview
Volunteer Treasurer required for the 50+ forum. We are a group of like-minded people that meet in Belper and discuss the needs and issues of Belper. We then co-ordinate with other 50+ organisations of Derbyshire and turn our voice into a SHOUT.

The role is simple but requires, a level of accuracy and attention because it is dealing with Finance. It requires collection of all monies at the quarterly meetings, refunding refreshment costs, and paying the hire of the room. Any speaker is paid and the remainder is placed into a bank account. All transactions are detailed on a sheet and reported to the committee. This is a responsible role, and there is potential to join the committee at a later date.
We have 150 members and counting.
This is an opportunity to take part of making a difference in your area, and with only four meeting per year we do not need a major commitment from you.
