Overview
Events Support volunteers are key to delivering successful events at Cromford Mills, from weekend markets, beer festival, outdoor theatre, family fun activities, evening talks and our locally famous Dog Show.
This role would suit someone who has time to spare at weekends and evenings, loves the buzz of making events happen and is confident to interact with visitors and guests. It’s a flexible role, which allows you to choose which events you would like to help with. Whether you volunteer for two events per year, or twenty, we will appreciate your help. The role involves being outside and on your feet for up to a few hours at a time. The site is mostly accessible to people who use wheelchairs or mobility aids.
Cromford Mills is a unique historic venue, part of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site. This is a fun and fulfilling role for anyone interested in heritage, tourism, events management, culture and customer service. You will be part of a team of staff and volunteers so it’s also a great way to meet new people.
