Overview

Duty volunteers act as a point of contact for patient facing colleagues. They work on a
rota basis – providing PPE and other supplies, as well as handling enquiries from our
Volunteer Office at The Florence Nightingale Community Hospital at London Road in
Derby.
Duty volunteers are not required to hold a driving licence as long as they are able to make
their own way to and from site. This role is non-patient facing mainly, however the role is
hosted on the hospital campus, and some interaction with patients is likely. Volunteers
must be aged over 18, and happy to undertake basic record keeping activities.
