Cycle Patrol volunteer

·        Minor cutting back of trees and scrubs

·        Litter picking

·        Keeping trail clear

·        Cleaning and checking trail signage

·        Minor drainage works

·        Reporting bigger jobs that cannot be done by volunteer

·        Engaging with the public (answering questions, giving directions and being helpful)

·        Check abseil licences

·        Assist visitors with pay and display machines

·        Other potential tasks completed alongside trails rangers

·        Like interacting with the public and other people

·        Basic knowledge of trails and Peak District National Park

·        Interest in the countryside and nature conservation

·        Experience or confidence in giving directions

·        Knowledge of basic bike fixing
