Overview
This role requires an interest in mainly practical activities, indoor and outdoor. These tasks are general site maintenance, mowing, hedge cutting, painting, simple joinery type repairs, routine maintenance of mechanical gear drive machinery and specific repairs to mechanical equipment as required. The Volunteer will gain a good sense of satisfaction from the sight of a completed task that improves the visual perception of the site. As teamwork is involved there is also a strong benefit to be gained from working with other like-minded persons and being and feeling part of a friendly Team. A further benefit is that the Volunteer will learn about old, working Windmill procedures and activities.
