Trustee Vacancy – The AI Crewe C.I.C (16866199)

Have you thought about the human factor in the current AI revolution?

In September 2025, my article following the US/UK tech deal went viral on LinkedIn.  Investment is focused on technology and not necessarily hard-to-reach communities.

7.9 million people lack basic digital skills and in some areas 30% of jobs are at risk of cuts.  For people with learning disabilities the risk is greater.

  • Hard-to-reach populations will be accessed
  • This project will be managed remotely, and I can train AI Literacy trainers
  • We have links with Alternative Provision in Derbyshire
  • We have been in contact with potential partners and funders.

Activities of The AI Crewe C.I.C–

  1. Promoting AI technology, AI literacy and employability skills
  2. Producing and promoting videos that are free at the point of access.
  3. Supporting local community groups in Derbyshire and promoting this work.
  4. Providing advice and training free at the point of access
  5. Delivering benefit to hard-to reach populations  

                          Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a trustee. You will be responsible for project development, and a key player for the direction of the company. Tasks include contacting people in communities within Derbyshire. Support with funding applications, implementation and maintaining relationships with clients.
