Overview
Our Events volunteers play a vital part in the delivery of our events programme, working with the Events Manager and team, you can help to create fantastic experiences and memories for our visitors young and old. From preparing materials and creating displays to support on events days, there’s lots to enjoy and get involved with.
WHAT COULD YOU DO?
There are lots of things you can help with and not everything is visitor facing. There are lots of behind the scenes things to do too! Roles include:
Preparing an area and setting up for the event.
Supporting our Customer Care Team providing visitors with information.
Painting, construction and preparation of event materials. From craft makes to larger displays, our events team are involved with everything.
Carpark marshalling
Looking after singers and other events guests
Helping our visitors get the best out of their day

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW
We understand some people prefer to work behind the scenes and we’ll always do our best to find a role that works for you and your individual needs.
There are lots of events throughout the year and you can be involved in as many as you would like to
Training in safeguarding and customer care is compulsory.
