Overview

Role; To provide digital support for clients who want to access technology and relevant websites/apps.To support clients to maintain their independence, reduce isolation and improve their knowledge and confidence.

Tasks; Create e-mail accounts for clients and support them to use the account to set up

  • NHS app
  • universal Credit Journals
  • Platform of their choice to maintain contact with family/friends
  • Show clients how to research for trusted organisations/groups.
  • Support our clients to feel that technology can become a familiar friend.

Required; good digital/IT skills, good listening/communications skills, understands boundaries of role

works well without supervision, respects confidentiality of client.

IMPORTANT: Based at Amber Valley CVS and will be supporting clients in their homes as well as attending GP surgeries to support Digital “Drop ins”
