Overview
About us
We’re here to help horses and everyone who cares for them enjoy the best possible life together.
The Role
We are actively looking to increase our volunteer team across Derbyshire. Becoming a ‘Ed & Events Officer’ means joining our team of volunteers in the East Midlands which is led by our Regional Manager and supported by a Lead Volunteer. You’ll help create opportunities for people to learn, connect and enjoy horses.
Together with you will;
- Plan and deliver local equestrian events and activities
- Organise educational, social and awareness events
- Work with a friendly committee and volunteer team
- Promote events and encourage participation
- Help grow engagement within your local equestrian community
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Enjoy organising, planning and delivering events
- Are creative and people-focused
- Have good communication and teamwork skills
- Want to make a positive local impact
Please note: None of our volunteer roles involve hands-on horse contact
